about

"Shades of Cat Stevens vocally with a strong and versatile guitar style
that displays the influences of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Richard
Thompson".
With his bands, and as a solo performer, Jesse has regularly headlined
festivals, played with the likes of Tom Paxton, Isaac Guillory, Status
Quo, The Lightning Seeds and many more. He's appeared on TV and
numerous local, national and international radio shows.
New York Times Bestseller and Yorkshire Post regular columnist G.P.
Taylor recently wrote “Jesse may at the moment be the bloke who
plays down the pub, but with the right chance he could top the world
music scene. I believe he stands on the verge of being discovered and
his music being appreciated around the world."
After 20 years avoiding writing songs completely, Jesse is now back
with a new album of all original music entitled ‘No Direction Home’
available in CD and Vinyl form.
He can't wait to get out and play, he wasn't able to do it for two
decades. He now can.

lyrics

Feeling lucky, never sure what about
Feeling hazy, and I can’t make it out.
I know I love her and I know that she has gone. I’m so sorry, I did it all wrong.
Feeling hopeful, not sure where to go. Feeling special, but what the hell do I know? I’m not taken out, I have my own hand.
I’m not breaking out, I took the wrong stand.
It’s not cold yet. I’m still learning. I’m still bearing the Flame.
I’m not old yet. I’m still yearning. My skin still bears your name.
Through darkened skies, your words ever ring, The stars do not cry, they sing.
The world’s turning, yet laying in rust. Wild fires they wrestle in the dust. Empire’s falling, you see it in her eyes. A Generation - suckling on a lie.
Feeling lighter as I let her go,
Feeling stronger the less I know.
I know I’m free-er now, as the curfew falls. Where we go one we go all.
