A BEAUTIFUL DARK

Home movies shot on an 8mm cine camera with a crack in the lens, like life never quite totally in focus. This project of music for the visual track of 2020 and beyond pulls together a soundscape from artists surviving in this surreality. Taking inspiration from Scarborough and the beautiful landscapes of the east coast, 50s B-movies and artists like Dali and Stanislaw Szukalski as well as the literature of King and Koontz, the striking themes starting with this first release Non Desistas (Never Give up) strikes a chord for modern living. Conceived and executed by Paul Nash (guest vocals Maethelyiah)
